Comment: Basement has small puddles of water from outside (4 different small streams) Poured foundation basement, partially finished, Leaking wall is finished with drywall. We suspect the water is from building up due to faulty sloping towards the house. We want to look into our different options for addressing the issue before we attempt to put carpet in the basement.

Comment: On the East wall of my basement(about 2ft length), where the wall meets the floor, water seeps in and runs over to the drain. This only happens when it rains obviously. House was built in 1942 and I just purchased it in August. I don't want this to become a larger issue down the road.

Comment: I'm have been experiencing problems with water in the basement following heavy rains and snow melt. The basement is partially finished. Yesterday in an attempt to understand were the water is coming in at I cut up 24â of drywall around the perimeter. What I found was that there are a few primary areas of water entry (water tested with the hose against the foundation). The foundation of my home is block and the majority of the water seepage occurs between the lowest block and 2nd to lowest block. My home is also without a sump pump. I am interested in obtaining a free quote for what an interior perimeter drainage (french drain) system would cost including a sump pump.
