Comment: Our sump pump runs fine but it is running on average every 5 minutes even when it doesn't rain. My main concern is the discharge because the builder didn't really set up the drainage to go away from the foundation and when the water is dispelled from the pump, it is just creating standing water on the side of my house and I believe that water is flowing right back into the pump. I would really like someone to come out and take a look at the pump as well as the drainage and help is create a drier yard and correct drainage system for our sump pump. I am also not sure if we are on a high water table or not.
