Randy F. of Canby, MN was in the middle of a home remodel project and the timing was perfect to attend an area Home Show in Marshall, MN.  Speaking with Nate Barke at the Home Show about services we provide to get the basement ready for finishing.

Randy really liked the EverLast Basement Windows, his current windows were drafty, old and not so nice looking.  Our EverLast Basement Windows are smooth operating, sliding windows with a screen. The windows are crystal-clear, double thermal-pane glass, so they are energy efficient. When unlocked, both panes come right out of the frame very easily so you can clean them, or pass objects through like ladders and long boards.

This homeowner had a block wall in the basement that was bowing quite severely. Bowing walls are caused by hydrostatic pressure and expansive soils on the outside of your foundation. When the clay soil around your home absorbs water, it expands and pushes against the foundation. It's important to stop the wall from bowing or leaning any further. If this homeowner would have waited much longer, the wall could have collapsed and caused irreparable damage to the structure of his home.

We installed our PowerBrace Wall Support System is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time with regular tightening. This system requires NO outside excavation. The system we installed in this home was done in one day!

Matt from Ortonville needed help with his dirt crawlspace that had a musty smell coming from it. Maple Grove homeowner contacted Complete Basement Systems when they noticed a stress wall crack in their foundation that was leaking.  

Our FlexiSpan Wall System is installed to prevent wall cracks from leaking.  Cracks in poured concrete walls are common.  Most are a result of shrinkage of the concrete as part of the curing process.

FlexiSpan seals the crack and if any water ever gets past the seal, it drains down into the drywell.  No amount of wall movement will make it leak again because FlexiSpan is....well, flexible.
