A homeowner in Klemme, IA, began hearing alarming noises in their basement. Concerned by the sound, the homeowner began searching for the source. After looking, the homeowner discovered the sound was coming from their sump pump. The homeowner wanted a professional to inspect their sump pump, so they looked into "sump pump replacement Iowa". One of the first companies to show up was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner took a closer look at our services. The homeowners were impressed with our products and knew they wanted to work with us. Next, they called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. Since they had already worked with us, we sent one of our Service Technicians, Jack, to the home to perform the estimate. Following Jack's arrival, he introduced himself to the homeowner and began the inspection. During his inspection, Jack determined the sump pump needed to be replaced. Jack proposed his plan to the homeowner and they agreed. Next, the plans were passed along to our Foreman, Edgar, and his crew to start the installation. Once they arrived, Edgar and his crew began by taking out the old sump pump and replacing it with the SuperSump+. After the sump pump was replaced, the crew shifted their focus to installing a standard discharge line. Next, the crew attached an IceGuard to the outside discharge line. Edgar and his crew successfully installed all the products in the home, so they cleaned up their materials and left. The homeowner was relieved to know they have the best sump pump installed in their home. American Waterworks is happy to replace its homeowner's struggling sump pumps.
A homeowner in Birchwood, WI, recently read an article discussing the dangers of radon. Concerned about their home's radon levels, the homeowners knew they needed to find a company that could provide them with a solution. The homeowner looked into a "radon mitigation company near me" and one of the first companies to show up was us, American Waterworks. After reading about our radon abatement systems, the homeowner knew we were the ideal company for their project. Since they were already on the website, the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, we sent one of our Design Specialists, Kyle, to the home to provide the homeowner with some answers. Kyle arrived at the home and then placed a radon test in the home. While the test was completed, Kyle found the best areas to place the Radon Mitigation System. After the test was completed, it showed the results were above 4.0pCis. Kyle recommended installing our Radon Mitigation System in the home. Knowing this was their best option, the homeowner agreed with Kyle's recommendations. Next, the proposal was passed to our Logistics team to build and approve the project. Our Logisitcs team gave the final stamp of approval, then it was scheduled for a few weeks later. Once the project date arrived, our Foreman, Dakota, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Dakota and his crew made sure the home was ready for installation. Next, Dakota and his crew installed the Radon Mitigation System. Once the Radon Mitigation System was secured, Dakota and his team cleaned up their materials and left the home. A customer from Blooming Prairie, MN got in contact with us when he began to notice that his concrete patio was beginning to sink away from the siding of his home. He was afraid that if left untreated, the trip hazard would become more dangerous. When he called us, we set him up with our FREE estimate, entitling him to a FREE estimate with one of our Design Specialists, Kevin. When Kevin arrived at the property, he assessed the damage, and when he finished he made his recommendations. He recommended the use of our PolyLevel injection to address the sinkage. He explained that our PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that gets injected beneath the problem slab to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surface. Our customer agreed and work began shortly after.
Our Foreman, Troy, and his Co-Foreman, Cory, began the process by strategically drilling holes in the concrete slab. Next, they injected the foam into the holes while closely monitoring the lifting process to ensure no overcorrection was made. Once the job was complete, our customer was happy to know that he no longer needed to worry about uneven concrete while enjoying his patio!
