Old Sump Pump Gets Replaced in Owatonna, MN

An Owatonna, MN, homeowner was growing tired of her old sump pump. Each time it rained, the sump pump had to work overtime to compensate for all of the water. At times, the issue was so bad that the homeowner had water all over her basement floor. She no longer wanted to clean up after the older sump pump and decided to begin her search for a sump pump system company in Minnesota. When she found our website, she signed up for her FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, Dustin A, one of our Design Specialists, was scheduled to stop at her home.

After Dustin finished his walkthrough, he informed the homeowner that she was correct to call us and that we could provide her with a new sump pump that would be sure to keep her basement dry. Dustin recommended our SuperSump sump pump, an effective and economical solution to water intrusion. This machine is engineered to help keep the basement dry and healthy for extended periods, even in times of heavy water intrusion. The SuperSump boasts a powerful Zoeller® ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of your basement. The homeowner was thrilled about the idea of having a new sump pump, and eagerly scheduled the job for several weeks later.

On the day of the installation, our Foreman, Matt Z, and his team installed the sump pump with no issues. Now, our customer can enjoy the rain without fear that it will end up on her basement floor!

Outdated Sump Pump Gets an Upgrade in Owatonna, MN

An Owatonna, MN, homeowner was facing a unique issue with her home. Each time it rained, the homeowner's sump pump wouldn't turn on, regardless of the amount of water entering the space. This problem resulted in an even bigger problem: a flooded basement. The homeowner knew she couldn't head into a Minnesota winter with an outdated sump system, so he began searching for a basement specialist near him. When he found our website, he signed up for his FREE estimate, and a few weeks later, our Design Specialist, Brady S, headed out to the home.

Brady conducted a thorough inspection of the basement, and when he finished, he was ready to meet with the homeowner. Brady recommended several of our products but stressed the importance of updating the sump system. Brady recommended the installation of our TripleSafe Sump Pump. Brady explained that The TripleSafe is the most reliable sump pump in our lineup. It boasts three levels of protection for your basement and your peace of mind. For normal functioning, The TripleSafe offers a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller 1/3 horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water, or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller 1/2 horsepower pump, set a bit higher, in the liner will take over. The homeowner quickly agreed with Brady and scheduled the installation for several weeks later.

On the day of the project, our Foreman, Raul B, and his team effortlessly installed one of our TripleSafe sump pumps. Now, our customer can enjoy the rain without worries that it will wind up in her basement!

DIY Sump Pump Was No Match For This Forest City, IA Basement

After purchasing their Forest City, IA home, Matt & Jenni decided to contact American Waterworks to have a new sump pump installed in their basement after realizing the DIY version wasn't keeping up with the demands of their home. Waterproofing in Forest City, IA

Bryan A. in Forest City, IA was tired of dealing with a wet basement after heavy rains and snow melt. The water had started to cause damage to his property and was creating a musty, unhealthy space. He heard our advertisement on the radio and decided to give us a call. We sent one of our Design Specialists, Dylan Woitas, to meet with him and evaluate the situation. Dylan designed a thorough plan and assured Bryan that our waterproofing system would provide a permanent solution.

Our Foreman, Matt Zeller, and his production crew were able to successfully waterproof Bryan’s basement by first removing the concrete around the inside perimeter of the basement and through the middle of the floor. Next, they installed 164 feet of our WaterGuard drainage System and 36 feet of lateral line. Then, they installed our SuperSump sump pump in the corner, filled the gaps with rock, and replaced the concrete. Water is now guided through the WaterGuard, to the SuperSump, and is quietly, and efficiently discharged from the home. Bryan was pleased with the results, and glad he made the investment to protect his home.

The Design Specialists promptly arrived at the home and began the thorough inspection of the crawl space. Our Logistics team built and scheduled the project, then it was assigned to our Foreman, Kiko, and his crew. Kiko and his crew traveled to the home and started the installation. First, Kiko and his crew cleared the debris and made sure the space was clear. Next, Kiko and his crew shifted their focus to installing the Drianage Matting on the crawl space floor. Once the Drainage matting was secured, the crew attached CleanSpace to the crawl space floors and walls. Additionally, the crew attached Foamax to the crawl space walls. After all the products were secured, Kiko and his crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew.
