A cabin owner in Siren, WI reached out to us hoping to find a permanent solution to water pooling in the corners of their basement.
DBS Sales Manager Royce Bunn visited the home for a free, no-obligation estimate for our waterproofing system. Design Specialist Rich Johnsen visited the home to conduct a free, no-obligation estimate. After a careful inspection, Rich provided a quote and recommended the installation of a WaterGuard® Drain System. This French drain system collects water from the floor joists and walls before it has a chance to enter the home.
A DBS Foreman led the installation of the project with help from a team. Together, the team removed the concrete around the perimeter of the basement and placed the French drain pipes under the floor. Once the drain is installed, concrete is poured back over the installation to create a flush look. The drain leads to a sump pump that will discharge the water out of the home and away from the foundation.
These homeowners will no longer have to worry about mopping their basement and can now relax in their healthy home.
