This homeowner came to us with a pressing concern: they wanted to prevent their concrete cracks from worsening and preserve the integrity of their property. Having just moved in a month ago, they noticed that the cracks were already getting worse. Our inspection revealed that the driveway was being pushed into the house due to a phenomenon known as "Street Creep." This occurrence, caused by the expansion and movement of the road, exerted pressure on the foundation, leading to cracking and compression issues.
To address this issue comprehensively, we implemented a series of solutions. Firstly, we stabilized the back patio, lifted the pads at the garage, and elevated the sidewalk leading to the front door. By utilizing our trusted Polylevel system, we ensured that the driveway and sidewalk were stable and level. Next, we applied Nexus Pro, a premium concrete sealant, to fill the existing cracks and prevent them from expanding further.
In addition to these measures, we took preventative steps by employing CompressionGuards. These guards act as protective barriers against long-term damage to concrete driveways, garage slabs, and foundation walls. By replacing the traditional fiberboard expansion joints with our engineered expansion joints, we ensured that the concrete could flex and accommodate seasonal changes without compromising its integrity.
Their property is now safeguarded against further cracking and damage, allowing them to enjoy their new home for years to come.
These homeowners had lived in their home for over 60 years and throughout the years, they had dealt with water in their basement constantly. They had seen out trucks around their neighborhood and they thought that we would be able to help them fix this problem, so they gave us a call.
We sent Service Technician Austin Sharon to inspect the homeowners basement and determine where water was getting into their basement and determine what solutions would be best to fix this issue for years to come. Austin found that due to Carter Lake's high water table, every time the river would rise, the homeowners' basement would flood. He knew that a full perimeter solution was needed so that the homeowners could have a dry basement, so he called for an installation team. One of our installation teams came out to the home and installed full perimeter WaterGuard Drainage System along with 2 lateral lines, and 2 Super Sump Pumps.
The homeowners were very relieved that they do not have to deal with the water problem anymore. The can't wait to see what it's like to have the extra basement storage space now that it's usable. Check out the homeowner's new basement waterproofing solutions!
This homeowner faced a common issue with their house: a dirt crawl space that posed various risks to their health, energy bills, and foundation. Recognizing the importance of addressing this concern, we implemented an effective solution using CleanSpace. Acting as a protective layer between the home and the underlying soil, CleanSpace provides a multitude of benefits.
One of the primary advantages of CleanSpace is its ability to prevent water from entering the home through the foundation walls. This is crucial as foundation walls often experience water leakage through mortar joints, cold joints, cracks, and window seals. By installing CleanSpace, we created a barrier that effectively blocks any potential water intrusion.
Moreover, CleanSpace offers numerous advantages for homeowners. Its attractive and bright appearance enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of the crawl space. Additionally, the tough and vapor-proof liner reduces humidity levels, inhibiting the growth of mold and pest infestations. This, in turn, promotes a healthier living environment while also reducing maintenance costs.
Furthermore, CleanSpace contributes to improved insulation, resulting in warmer floors and lower heating expenses.
By installing CleanSpace, we not only addressed the immediate concern of the dirt crawl space but also provided long-term benefits for this homeowner.
These homeowner was reached out to by our team to schedule their annual maintenance appointment. They didn't realize that it had already been a year since our waterproofing systems had been installed, so they decided to schedule their appointment.
We sent Service Technician Brandon Brown to show the homeowners how they can do maintenance themselves at home, as well as to check on the systems one year later. Brandon showed them that their older sump pump system's main pump had a high amount of usage and water that was pooling around the foundation. Brandon expressed his concern about their old system, and talked to the homeowners about cleaning up the pumps so that they could function at a higher level. The homeowners didn't know that their sump pump system needed to be cleaned, so they were very appreciative that Brandon showed them how to clean it properly. Brandon then flushed out the water guard system that was installed the previous year just to ensure that everything was still working at its top performance.
The homeowners were wowed by the thorough maintenance appointment and how Brandon simply wanted to help prolong their investment in their home. Check out these homeowner's newly cleaned sump pump system!
