This homeowner recently purchased this house and wanted to finish the basement to add a play area for their grandkids. But due to the moldy and mildewy smell, they first needed to address any water damage before renovating. We found water entering through the joints, and to prevent this from happening, we installed a interior drainage system to collect that water and redirect it by pumping it out through a sump pump.
This home had a white, chalky substance on the walls, called efflorescence. Efflorescence is the deposit of salts left on masonry after the water evaporates. It appears on surfaces like concrete, retaining walls, stone, and stucco. Though it's not harmful, t's a good indication that water is in the basement. To fix, we installed a vapor barrier and interior drainage system.
Uneven sidewalks are extremely dangerous, especially for little kids. This sidewalk had settled pretty badly due to poorly compacted soil, but luckily we were able to lift it to its original position.
This homeowner was tired of getting leaves and grime in her gutters, so she decided to do something about it. To protect her gutters we installed RainDrop gutter guards! RainDrop gutter guards are the perfect fit for any home because of their advanced design and versatile fit.
This home's front steps, walkway, and driveway were all settling due to a lack of support in the soil. To fix it permanently, we installed PolyLevel, a polyuretherane foam we inject beneath the concrete slabs to lift and level the concrete back it its original position. We then used NexusPro to seal the joints and ensure water can not penetrate the surface!
