Basement Waterproofing in Lyons, KS

A cracked basement wall had become an access point for water in this home, and the homeowners were tired of the headache of finding water in their basement, storage area and workshop space. Fortunately, Thrasher was able to help, installing our WaterGuard drainage system along the effected walls, vapor barrier on the walls to keep the area clean and dry while diverting moisture into the drainage system, and a new sump pump to direct the water away from the home.

Wet Basement Waterproofing in Lyons, KS

Roger G. has a rental property that is need of some waterproofing. The unfinished basement has been leaking for quite some time and the area is unusable. Roger had received many recommendations from relatives that used Thrasher, so he decided to give us a call.

System Design Specialist Austin Ure went out Roger’s property. He was able to identify that the basement slab floor had many cracks in it, so water was able to seep up through the cracks. The crew started with installing WaterGuard, a waterproofing solution for the basement and installing a lateral line, so the water would have a place to go. Then we encapsulated the space with CleanSpace, keeping the walls dry. Roger was extremely happy to know the space would be usable.

Old Brick Wall Gets Fixed With Foundation Repair

This home was built in the early 1900s, and due to several years of washout and dryout, the structure started to buckle under pressure and weight. This resulted in the shelf wall failing. We were able to install EverBrace wall system to support the failing brick walls and then installed a TripleSafe sump pump system with a buried discharge to aid in the event of water in the basement.

Crazy Sump Pump Problem Solved in Sterling, KS

This homeowner's home was struck by a lightning storm, which knocked out her power for her sump pump, and her backup system in her basement. She had us install he sump pump over 10 years ago, so she decided to give us a call and see what we could do to fix this problem.

We had Service Technician Brad Metzger go to this homeowner's home and determine what went wrong when the power had gone out. Brad found that when the lighting struck the home, it not only knocked out the power, but it fried the backup battery so that it was no longer holding a charge. When he found this, he was shocked because of how unique and rare this situation was. Despite his surprise, Brad started working right away to fix this problem by installing a new primary pump, a new backup pump, and a new backup battery system. After he installed these, he tested them to ensure that everything, including the backup, was working properly.

The homeowner was so happy that her problem was solved and that she doesn't have to worry about water issues in her basement. Check out the homeowner's new sump pump solutions!

Basement Waterproofing in Gibbon, NE

Amanda had a long history of water in her basement and was sick of dealing with it. The number of sleepless nights carrying buckets of water out of her basement would astonish you. That's when she said, "Enough is enough... I'm tired of being a human sump pump!" After sealing the racks in her slab and joints and still getting water in her basement, she knew it was time to call the professionals.

One of our System Design Specialists, Brock Scott, got the call and headed out to Amanda's home to figure out what was going on with her basement. Upon inspection, Brock found evidence of effervescence, a white powdery substance that forms due to moisture, on all of her basement walls. To fix her issue, we decided to use WaterGuard, a Triple Safe sump pump, PolyLevel for concrete, and CleanSpace. The concrete outside her home was angled to drain water towards the foundation wall. So we raised that to prevent the water from draining directly to the basement. On top of that, we also did a full perimeter WaterGuard and an entire wall of CleanSpace to direct water straight to her new triple safe sump pump.

At the start of this, Amanda was desperate for help. She was at her wit's end and needed a system she could trust and that would work.
