This image depicts the concrete porch's surface prior to the application of DecoShield, highlighting the evident wear and tear that resulted in the concrete's fading and deterioration.
Water seepage into the basement would occur so heavy and often that it would pool on the basement floor. Not only did this damage the finished areas of the basement and stored items, but the constant cleanup process became a headache.
This sump pump and dehumidifier was unable to mitigate moisture levels in the crawl space. Erickson Foundation Solutions was called to install a permanent solution.
To install the WaterGuard system, our installation team removed the lower section of drywall and chiseled out concrete along the foundation's perimeter.
As you can see in the photo, the foundation wall would leak. For a finished space, including many electrionics in the area, this posed a concern.
The old sump pump in the home was unable to collect water and pump it out of the basement, leaving it prone to leaks and floods.
Water would seep through the crack in the crawl space, resulting in water pooling on the foundation floor. This set the stage for mold growth, as well as increased humidity.
The photo shows the sloping concrete around the pool, which contributes to an unattractive appearance.
