The crawl space in this home smelled bad, was at risk for infectious mold, and was a completely unusable space. We cleaned it up and encapsulated it with a vapor barrier as well as installed a Sani-Dry dehumidifier. The homeowner was very pleased to have not only a safer, more healthy crawl space, but also more usable space in her home.

Over the years, intruding water had left a musty smell, allowed mold to grow, and made this basement’s space useless. We installed a TripleSafe sump pump, WaterGuard perimeter drain, a SaniDry dehumidifying system, and a French drain for the discharge that waterproofs the basement and increases the air quality.

Water intrusion was causing the air to be muggy and other negative effects to take place. We installed our interior drainage system to capture and eliminate this problematic moisture.

The crawl space was wet and sagging, and she was concerned about the condition of her home. Carolina Basement Systems was able to help Tara by using SmartJacks and CleanSpace products to solve the problem. The SmartJacks were used to support the sagging crawl space, and the CleanSpace products were used to create a barrier between the wet crawl space and the rest of the house. This helped to protect Tara's home from further damage and to create a healthier living environment.

Despite needing to be sealed completely, the homeowners wanted to start with waterproofing the perimeter. So, we installed our EZflow drainage system and sump pump to collect unwanted water and send it away from the home.
