Basement Doctor is a professional service company that puts the customer first. After the heaviest rainstorm in over a decade, hydrostatic pressure forced water into our finished basement through minor foundation cracks. Although the Basement Doctor was being "flooded" with phone calls from similar homeowners, we waited less than 24 hours before an estimator (Steve) arrived and located both foundation cracks. He gave us an acceptable repair estimate before leaving. Due to other landscaping needs, excavation work was performed by another contractor. Once completed, the Basement Doctor crew arrived on the scheduled date/time and sealed the cracks, foundation wall, and footers. After that work was completed, one additional water issue was identified as a result of a utility contractor drilling through our foundation to install a new gas line but failed to properly seal around the hole. We contacted the utility company to create a repair order, but no one ever followed up with us. After two weeks, we called again to learn 1) there was no record of our repair order existed and, 2) there was no interest in resolving the water problem their contractor created. We again turned to the Basement Doctor for help. Steve contacted a service manager (Matt) who immediately called and scheduled a service technician (Nick) to seal both the interior and exterior hole around the gas line. After a few months, we have had no additional water leaks through our foundation. We chose the Basement Doctor to solve our water problems and highly recommend them to solve yours. Unfortunately, we can't choose a different utility company that accepts responsibility for their work, or their contractors.
