The project did take longer than we expected but the end result truly made the effort worthwhile. The basement has not been this dry in years and we know we have stopped the continued erosion of the back wall.
We had many contact with Ben, the service manager. With his help the job was completed with positive results and my mother is very happy.
Walt was very personable and presented a complete package for the entire basement.
We had several teams for a fairly complicated job. All were professional, knowledgeable and respectful.
There were several teams but each took care to clean up the area and any material that was left for a later team was neatly stacked.
What made you choose our company:
My mother's house is an older house that experienced water issues that progressively got worse over the years. Without noticing, the damp floors started pooling water and the walls developed cracks. One became VERY bad - shifting the block to a produce an approximate 1-1/2 to 2" crack along most of the wall. The buckling caused the block to protrude almost 3-1/2". My mother selected Basement Doctors because they suggested metal bracing for the back wall and waterproofing for the balance of the basement. Her older house presented many challenges along the way but the teams were able to use some very inventive ways to accomplish the goal and complete the job. It is now done and not only looks awesome but has already resulted in some positive movement of the block (back into alignment). We are excited to see what future adjustments bring in restoring not only the safety but the appearance of the basement.
