Comment: My sump runs consistently every 2 1/2 minutes - even at times of dryer weather. There is a pond behind our home and water discharges into the pond. I cut back the PVC pipe so the drain isn't too low into the pond. Neighbors sump pumps run into the street opposite my home. Sump pump area has been dry last 16 mths I have been here but some concerns in past due to falty valve. I don't know if Check Valve is bad or water table issue - or water is somehow recycling same water. I can see H2O going into pond after it runs.
