Leaky basement walls were causing issues in this basement. The homeowners couldn't use the basement for storage because everything would either get wet or the moisture from the leak would make things damp and humid. Our crews installed a drainage system that we use called WaterGuard to go along the basement wall and drain into a sump pump. Since this leak was pretty extensive we installed our TripleSafe sump pump. It's a three-pump system that adjusts to the amount of water coming in. The crews also installed our BrightWall paneling that works alongside our WaterGuard system. It is a waterproof, stain resistant, and moisture barrier wall panel. It is designed specifically for basement walls. This customer was happy with the look of the basement and that they could finally have storage space.
The customer called looking for some foundation repair and drainage system in the basement.
In this home, water had been leaking in the basement walls every time it rained. They had our inspector come out to look and explore what options they had to fix the water issues. Our crews installed our WaterGuard system which is an interior drainage system that goes along the basement wall. When finished it is unseen and drains to a sump pump to pump the water out and away from the home. Along with the WaterGuard, we installed ThermalDry Wall that helps insulate the basement by reflecting heat back in. It also works along with the drainage system and is made of inorganic materials so that it cannot mold and will protect your walls from moisture damage. The homeowner was happy with the work and was ready to move on to remodeling his basement for full functional use.
This crawlspace was full of dirt and water and caked-on silt from where water had previously been. Lynn replaced the vapor barrier, installed a sump pump and dehumidifier to make the space dry and functional.
Our service team came out to do a service on this homeowners waterguard system. They decided that they wanted to upgrade their system and wondered if there was anything we could do to make the basement warmer. Now that it was dry they wanted to spend more time in there but it was still pretty chilly. We suggested our thermaldry wall system that acts as an insulation and reflects heat back into the basement. Now they have a dry and warm basement for years to come!
