This home was recently purchase 'as-is' and included a basement that was leaking and musty. The new owners wanted to utilize the space and they opted to do a full waterproofing and Total basement finishing to convert this into livable space.
This old homes electrical was all still original from when it was built, thus it was outdated. As time progressed, home appliances began needing more amperage to run smoothly, and other panels had been added. However, wanting to simplify their panel, and have it all be updated, they called up John's Electrical. Our electrician arrived and upgraded the entire set up.
We installed Thermal Dry walls and our patented WaterGuard perimeter drain in this homeowner's basement. The before picture shows evidence of water intrusion under the floors and behind the baseboards. The after photo shows our Thermal Dry system preventing any water from getting to the drywall that will be installed after our systems are in place.
This wet and musty basement was unfinished. The homeowners wanted to use this space for storage but didn't want to worry about water damage, so they got their basement waterproofed.
