To keep the water moving, a sump pump should be installed in the lowest point. This home had caked on mud and rocks that had gathered in this point over the years. Now that grade will help the water flow and be pumped out safely.
Partially done crawlspace was bothering customer, so they called us to finish it
This homeowner in King City had another company come out and work on their crawlspace and after a few years, a cable installer showed them photos of their crawlspace. They were disappointed to see the entire space covered in a thick and sloppy layer of spray foam insulation covering everything in their crawlspace.
Our crews came in and removed the old insulation and installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier and then applied the spray foam properly around the foundation of the space so that the homeowner and workers could still access the space and work when needed.
Oftentimes we meet and talk to realtors and homeowners that are just looking to quickly get their house sold and need their house to pass code. Thisvapor barrier had been installed quickly to sell the home but was not properly sealed and quickly filled with debris. A quick Waterproofing job, is not a completed waterproofing job.
This is a before and after of a crawl space in Portland, OR. We did a full encapsulation with CleanSpace and installed a SmartSump pump which has a Zoeller 1/3 hp cast-iron pump, an UltraSump pump that can pump 2,018 gallons per hour, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, a smart drain and we repaired the posts using SmartJack. Crawl space is now healthy and dry for a long time to come.
