Our clients in Saint-Jean Sur Richelieu, called to have their crawl space encapsulated.

So we started by installing the WaterGuard Interior Drain ‘This channel collects water from the wall floor joint and directs it to the sump chamber’, and then we have connected it to our company’s SuperSump pump that will evacuate water.

In addition our team has installed the CleanSpace membrane which blocks water vapor from the walls and redirects water to the WaterGuard indoor drain installed directly below.

The insulation helped solve many issues the client had, and had improved the home comfort, healthfulness, energy efficiency and value of the house.

Before diving into this cozy renovation in Saint-Cuthbert, QC, our homeowner faced a common issue - a cold crawl space that was affecting their home's overall comfort and energy efficiency. As you can see in the 'before' photo, the space was exposed, allowing cold air and moisture to enter freely. The transformation you see in the 'after' photo was achieved with our CleanSpace technology. This innovative solution seals the area, dramatically improving insulation and air quality, thereby enhancing the homeowner's comfort and reducing energy bills. We insulated and encapsulated the crawl space in Saint-Lin-Laurentides which was having many problems such as heat loss and wasted energy, water and water vapor infiltrations, moisture, mold, bloom, and more. Then, we eliminated the risks and worries of this resident of Saint-Lin-Laurentides by installing our products SilverGlo and CleanSpace specially designed for crawl spaces.

We have transformed this crawl space in Mascouche into a very beautiful area.

The soil was very wet, mold and insects were growing. So we installed our CleanSpace membrane to insulate the house from the ground and our company’s SmartDrain that intercepts water infiltration caused by plumbing leaks.

The problem

Moisture problems in the crawl space, water infiltration, and a non-functional sump pump.

In addition, there was water on the floor near his sump pump.

Our client wanted to transform her crawl space into a dry place where she could store her belongings.

Solution

For now, our customer has chosen to have a new SuperSump sump pump system installed with a 1/2 HP Zoeller cast iron pump. This removes water from the ground and expels it outside away from the foundation to prevent flooding. We also do recommend a WaterGuard interior drain system to help against water infiltration.
