Whenever we work on the waterproofing and encapsulation of a crawl space, we are happy to see how this space is transformed from an earthen place with moist air into a dry, clean and bright space that can be used for useful purposes. This adds more usable space to your home and increases its value. Not only can you use it to store your seasonal items, but the air becomes dry and of better quality because the CleanSpace vapor barrier membrane contains an antibacterial additive that prevents the formation and proliferation of bacteria and molds and blocks water vapor. Our client who lives in Laval contacted our company and asked us to inspect her crawl space after she had seen our work on her neighbor's house.

During our team inspection, our specialist Jerry found many areas where mold had been growing in addition to extreme moisture. So he suggested the installation of our CleanSpace system that will be sealed to separate the house from the ground. An antimicrobial ingredient is present in the vapor barrier to prevent bacteria from reproducing.

Our client was very happy with the work done and can now rest easy knowing there is no more mold or moisture under her home!

Our client complained about a cold and wet crawl space. He felt his floors were very cold and smelled unpleasantly damp. The crawl space was very poorly insulated, cold and humid.

The difficulty our experts faced was isolating an uneven ground. Rigid and inflexible insulation could not have worked there. Our experts installed our 3/4 inch TerraBlock insulation sheets. These sheets are placed on the ground and mold to the ground and allow the crawl space to be isolated. To finalize it,  they coated the TerraBlock with our 20ml thick CleanSpace coating. It is made of a high density polyethylene blend for flexibility and strong strength. The white finish brightens the crawl space and makes it clean.

Thanks to this solution, our client will no longer have cold floors and no foul odor. It will have a dry and clean crawl space!

Problem

Mrs. Trottier had moisture problems in her crawl space. A rate of 82% was detected during the free inspection due to water infiltration problems.

Solution

Encapsulate the crawl space with our CleanSpace drainage membrane and liner. And then, install a sump pump system that is efficient, reliable and will work even in the case of a power outage.

Problem: Our client who lives in the city of Sainte-Adèle had an odor and humidity problem in her crawl space. Being uninsulated and having high humidity level created the odor. One day our client decided to call us to change this situation and we went to this lady's residence to assess what could be done.

Solution: Our certified specialist installed our CleanSpace membrane made for crawl spaces all over it. Also, below it, there is a drainage membrane, which redirects water to our SmartSump pump, which draws water out of your home. Moreover, we have installed a product called the SilverGlow, in order to isolate the crawl space.

So to sum it up you will have protection, with a membrane that directs water to the pump located under the CleanSpace, which sends water to the pump and you will have thermal insulation that insulates the crawl space in a very efficient way.

After our intervention, this client never felt an odor and now can enjoy her dry crawl space.
