Customer Dave A. recently bought his home in Ridgeville, SC, and he moved some boxes into the garage and noticed a few cracks in the concrete slab. A few months later, he began organizing and unpacking the extra boxes when he realized that the concrete slab cracks had actually widened and the slab was sinking. A major tripping hazard appeared and he knew he had to get it fixed as soon as possible. After researching online, he found CanteyCanFixIt.com and the patented PolyLevel system. By injecting the polyurethane foam underneath the concrete slab, Cantey was able to lift and stabilize it for many years to come! Within a few weeks, Dave's garage floor was back to level and he was able to turn the space into a workshop!
This home owner in Summerville, SC was very startled to see their pool deck had sunk to different levels all the way around the pool causing very unsafe conditions for walking. They found Cantey Foundation Specialists and inquired about our PolyLEVEL system. We were able to help the home owner repair the pool deck so that they could enjoy their summer at home! They were extremely relieved.
This slab foundation was lifted 2 inches using PolyLEVEL, allowing the homeowner to properly replace his floors - he was extremely grateful! We were excited to see his finished project in the after picture and note he shared with us:

Charles and Stacie W. bought their Summerville, SC home about a year ago in order to prepare to start a family. Their home has plenty of room for their family to grow as well as a big backyard. Recently, Charles and Stacie have been doing everything they can to prepare for their first child that is on the way. With only a few months left to go, Charles noticed that around the pool were cracks and places that were sinking. He knew this was going to be a major tripping hazard for his family. He did an internet search for pool deck repair and found Cantey Foundation Specialists. Charles and Stacie decided to call and make an appointment for an inspection. System Design Specialist Kendall Moore arrived for the appointment and inspected around the pool at each of the concrete slabs. Kendall determined that the lasting solution Charles and Stacie need to keep their family safe in the future was Cantey's PolyLevel process. The PolyLevel process would begin with small holes being drilled through the concrete slab. These would be the injection sites for the liquid PolyLevel that would find all the voids and fill them. Once the PolyLevel was injected, it would take 15 minutes to harden. As the PolyLevel sets, it lifts the concrete slab above while stabilizing underneath the slab. Charles and Stacie decided this was the kind of solution they wanted to keep their family safe as they enjoy their pool. Production Team Leader Roberto Buchner and Production Team Member Josh Hough came out and effectively injected the PolyLevel process. Charles and Stacie are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their new addition with the peace of mind that their home is a safe place for the whole family.
The Old Fort Fire Station in Ladson were having difficulties with their concrete driveway and parking area because the slabs were cracking and settling. Worried that the weight of the numerous fire trucks caused strain on the concrete slabs, the firemen called Cantey Foundation Specialists for a free estimate on the PolyLevel process. System Design Specialist Luke Stemple inspected the property, and he explained that the PolyLevel process could help them lift and stabilize the concrete slabs back into place. A few weeks later, Production Crew Foreman TJ Harden and his crew members arrived and injected the polyurethane substance under the concrete slab, which slowly but surely raised and leveled the parkway back into place. Because the Polylevel did not fix the cracks itself, Foreman TJ Harden and Production Project Manager Sean Hawkes spread our Nexus Pro sealant throughout all of the cracks to seal it from further water or settlement issues. Now, the Old Fort Fire Station can continue to help the community without worrying about their driveway and parkway!
