Concrete lifting before and after using Cantey Foundation Specialists' PolyLevel Lift in Taylors, SC
Alicia A. of Bowling Green, SC called Cantey Foundation Specialists because she noticed her floors sagging throughout her kitchen and dining room. After seeing a Cantey truck at the neighbor's house and asking about their experience, Alicia called for a free estimate. Specialist Scott Austin explained to Alicia that her floors were sagging because of wood rot underneath the home because of high moisture levels. By replacing the damaged beams with our treated lumber, installing three SmartJacks to stabilize the foundation and floor, and encapsulating the crawl space, Alicia would have the peace of mind that her home is structurally safe for many years to come.
Cheri B. has owned her home in Gaffney, SC for 20 years now. Since retiring, Cheri has found different activities to do at home and out with friends. She joined a church group that has introduced her to knitting and her new favorite, baking. Cheri had baked a few times over the years but it was never a regular hobby. She loves baking different pies, cookies, and cakes for church fundraisers or just to share with friends and neighbors. Cheri's church was having their annual Fall Festival so she was hard at work in her kitchen until her foot slipped on her sloping floor and all her hard work was ruined. Luckily, she was alright but she worried about her safety as she enjoyed her favorite past time. While watching the news that evening, she saw a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists. She felt like Cantey was the right company to call and made an appointment the next day. System Design Specialist Ryan Holloway came out and did an inspection of Cheri's floor and crawl space. Ryan found that Cheri needed extra support and lift that could be provided by Cantey's patented SmartJack system. The SmartJack system begins with soil removal at the places that the SmartJacks will be installed. These removal sites are then filled with tightly compact crush stone. A footing is then placed on top of this stone where the SmartJack will be attached. Once the top of the SmartJack has been attached to the beam above, it is adjusted to create lift and stability. Production Team Leader Dallas Darity, Production Team Member Dallas Elgin, Production Team Member David Watson came out and successfully installed the SmartJack system to Cheri's home. Cheri is now underway with yet another baking project but no longer has to fear about her safety while she is hard at work.
There were numerous tripping hazards in Adam P.'s garage in Gaffney, SC, and he wanted them to be fixed as soon as possible. He researched online and found CanteyCanFixIt.com and learned about our patented PolyLevel process. Specialist Nathan Bailey inspected his garage and driveway, and Specialist Nathan explained that the PolyLevel polymer in pumped underneath the concrete slab to raise it back into place. It would also be stabilized so that the concrete slab could not settle again because of soil erosion. Ecstatic with the results, Adam can now enjoy his garage without the worry of tripping hazards!
Junius S. has owned his home in Pickens, SC for over 20 years now. It has been a good home to himself and his family but he has decided to build a home. He and his wife want to down size now that they are empty nesters and they have always dreamed of building their own home. Before they leave though, Junius wants to make sure his home is a fresh start for the new family that will ultimately move into their home. The floor in the living room has always sloped slightly but has gotten worse over time. Junius decided he would find a company to fix the foundation so that was not a worry for the next family. His neighbor had foundation problems in the past and Cantey Foundation Specialists did an excellent job. Junius called into Cantey and scheduled an appointment with System Design Specialist Katherine Dillon. When Katherine came out and did her inspection she found that what Junius needed to solve his foundation issues was Cantey's patented SmartJack system. Katherine further explained that soil would be removed at each of the SmartJack locations along the crawl space. Tightly compacted crushed stone would fill these holes and a footing would be placed on top of that creating a stable foundation. Galvanized steel beams specifically cut for Junius's home would then be attached to the footing and then attached to a beam that would run along the top of the crawl space. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Jonathan Lowder, and Production Team Member Austin Boan came out and effectively installed the SmartJack system. Junius is now building his new home and putting the finishing touches on his for a new family to make memories in.
