Larry G. is a homeowner in Piedmont, SC who has an issue with his home's foundation. Larry began to notice that a crack had appeared on the side of his house, and as time went on it only got worse. Push Piers are hydraulically pushed into the ground until it reaches bedrock. Team Leader Sixto, Team Member Jose and Team Member Mariano were quickly dispatched to Larry's home and installed the Push Piers. Louie N. of Simpsonville, SC was trying to sell his home; however, the inspector found a foundation issue since one of his crawl space piers was not fully supported. Calling Cantey Foundation Specialists, System Design Specialist Trey Smedley recommended adding one SmartJack to give the extra support needed to ensure that the foundation will no longer settle. Production Crew Foreman Israel Santana installed the SmartJack right away, and customer Louie was able to sell his house quickly!
In 2010, Tim K. of Simpsonville, SC added a garage on to his home, and shortly after he started to notice settlement. A gap appeared above the door, which caused the doors and windows the stick when opening and closing. Knowing the problem was only going to get worse, Tim called both Cantey Foundation Specialists and one of our competitors. Michael P.'s home in Simpsonville, SC had a massive rotting wood deck, which he decided to tear out and replace. When he tore out the deck, he realized that the foundation wall that it was connected to was also rotted out. After researching solutions online, he called Cantey Foundation Specialist for a free inspection and estimate. System Design Specialist Nathan Bailey explained to Michael that Cantey could replace all of his rotten wood rot with treated lumber. This would allow the new deck to be connected to something stable, and it would prevent future problems of wood rot or mold. Production Foreman Jonathan Driggers and his crew replaced all of the rotten wood, which in turn stabilized the foundation wall back into place. Now, Michael can begin rebuilding his new deck so that he could enjoy the rest of his summer!
