Marjorie D. has been living in her Columbia home for over twenty-four years, and she began to notice interior cracks throughout the front of home within the past year or so.  Worried that the walls on the front right part of her home were going to get only worse, she called Cantey Foundation Specialists for a free estimate.  System Design Specialist James Davis inspected both the interior of her home and the crawl space, and he had the perfect solution to fix Marjorie's problems.  Specialist James explained to Marjorie that there was a direct correlation between her settling piers and interior cracks, and only our patented SmartJack System could lift and stabilize her home back into place!

Marjorie D. of Columbia, SC was bothered by the cracks that appeared throughout the interior of her house.  Above her dining room doorway, a massive crack spread across the sheetrock that Marjorie tried to patch and paint numerous times without avail.  After researching online, she realized that the issue was a foundation problem, so she had a family friend install a crawl space jack from Lowe's.  However, within a few month, the issues came crawling back.  Giving up on the DIY, Marjorie called Cantey Foundation Specialists to have a professional look at the problem.  System Design Specialist James Davis performed a full home inspection for free and diagnosed the problem. He recommended installing three Smart Jacks underneath the dining room floor to lift and stabilize the interior part of the house.  He also recommended installing three Push Piers on the front right side of the house to close exterior cracks he found during the inspection. The Production Crew led by Ryan Shirley installed the SmartJack System and Push Piers with precision.  Because of its galvanized steel, our SmartJacks and Push Piers are stronger than most products available, which definitely surpasses any Lowe's product.  Now, Marjorie does not have to worry about any future settlement issues because our warranty promises the best solution for many years.

Richard N. is a homeowner in Columbia, SC and loves the area he lives in. He bought the home so his children could be close to their schools. When Richard bought the home not that long ago there were not many improvements he had to make. Recently though his living room floor began to worry him. It is the place where his kids often play and watch television. The floor began to slope making Richard feel like his family was not safe in their living room. Specialist Jamie told Richard that the solution he needed to protect his family and his home was Cantey's patented SmartJack system. The SmartJack system would be installed underneath the failing beam to give it lift and stabilize the floor above. A section of the soil would be removed and filled with tightly compacted stone. A footing would then be placed on top of this and connected with a galvanized steel column that would be leveled to fit perfectly under the wooden beam. The steel column would then be connected to the wooden beam and the column could be adjusted to create lift. Production Team Leader Trey Dukes, Production Team Member Estevan Lopez, and Production Team Member Brooks Walker came out to Richard's home and effectively installed the SmartJack system. Richard is now no longer worried about his kids playing in the living room and is thankful to Cantey for the best, lasting solution.
