Watching the WIS channel on tv, Larry and Geraldine G. saw a Cantey Foundation Specialists commercial offering free estimates on sagging floors and wood replacement.  Knowing that they not only had crawl space issues but also a damaged subfloor from a kitchen leak, they called Cantey right away for an inspection.  System Design Specialist James Davis had the solution for their problems: our SmartJack system to correct the sagging floors, a drainage system for future water issues, and replacement of the damaged subfloors.  This Before & After picture shows the french drain that was installed to prevent future floodings in the crawl space.  It successfully leads water out of the crawl space and away from the home.

Rebecca R. moved into her North Augusta, SC home almost 10 years ago and has no plans to move. She has always loved the area being able to enjoy both South Carolina and Georgia. She has plenty to do between the two states and loves keeping herself busy. Often because she is away, household chores and repairs fall by the wayside. When she was at home recently, she noticed that her living room floor had begun to sag. This was a wake-up call that she needed to protect the biggest investment she has. System Design Specialist John Adams came out and did an inspection on the entire crawl space. John found that Rebecca needed extra support that could be provided by Cantey's patented SmartJack system. The SmartJack system installation would start with soil being removed at the sites for the SmartJacks. These holes would then be filled with tightly compact crushed stone that would be the solid ground for the footing. The SmartJack would be specifically cut for Rebecca's crawl space and attached to the footing as well as the beam above. Once the SmartJack is secure, it is then adjusted to create lift and stabilization for the floor above. Production Team Leader Sixto Lopez, Production Team Member Jose Lopez, and Production Team Member Mariano Valdovines came out and effectively installed the SmartJack system. Rebecca is more involved now with her home repairs and recommends Cantey to others that are having crawl space issues.
