Despite not having standing water, the moisture was high enough in this crawl space to cause the hardwood flooring on the first level of the home above the crawl space to ripple, buckle, and even pop out of place in some areas. A full encapsulation system was installed which included a sump pump and dehumidifer.
This customer had started to notice odd signs around his house: springy floors and strange smells coming form the crawl space. He called a local repair company, Redeemers Group, to come take a look. We quickly idetified the cause a culprit of these weird symptoms: moisture from the crawl space resulting in wood rot and mold!
The homeowner smartly opted to have us install a full encapsulation system. This meant that we installed a drainage line and sump pump to suck up any pooling water under the home, a de-humidifier to remove moisture from the air, and CleanSpace to seal the crawl space and stop moisture evaporating into the home!
These homeowners used to have a dirty, incomplete crawlspace, but after calling the Redeemers Group, they can now rest easy with a fully encapsulated crawlspace, complete with our Cleanspae techonology!!
This customer has had a dramatically expensive utility bill because of her unsealed crawl space. The home was vulnerable to winter cold and summer heat.
By installing the CleanSpace system, the home will be protected from unwanted pests, mold and rot, and extreme home temperatures.
After Tracey Y. noticed the steel plate, which her back porch sits upon, had been settling, she decided to give Redeemers Group a call. After a thorough inspection had been completed, the inspector noticed that the front left and back right corners of the house were also settling, with the concrete under the porch settling as well. Redeemers Group was more than happy to help, and decided the best plan of action would be to encapsulate the dirty, moldy, basement, then complete the foundation work. As seen in these before and after pictures, the crawlspace under the settling house was pretty rough; it even had mold! The encapsulation was completed first, not only ito insure that the foundation work could be completed in a safe enviornment, but also so that the homeowner would no longer have to deal with a moldy, incomplete crawlspace!!
