This homeowner called after he recently purchased a 1950s home. The home had a vented crawl space that he was concerned was the source of problems with energy, comfort, and humidity. He wanted to find a way to improve the energy efficiency of his home, along with keeping the pipes that run through the crawl space warm in the winter. He also wanted a crawl space solution that would reduce the humidity in his home, and keep his floors warmer in the winter.

They removed debris, regraded the soil, sealed the crawl space from outside air, placed a drainage matting, installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier and SmartSump sump pump, and finally placed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier in the crawl space.
