The crawl space was once moisture and critter ridden. We used our CleanSpace system to transform it to a sealed and dry crawl space.
This crawl space was in poor condition. The insulation was wet and moldy and the crawl space needed to be waterproofed and fitted with a drainage system to prevent it from happening again. We removed the nasty insulation, installed a WaterGuard, and completed the makeover with CleanSpace lining and spray foam insulation.
This Sterling VA basement was too cold and the homeowners wanted to change that. They called us and had one of our Basement Performance experts (Carl) come out to see how we could help. Carl identified a need to air seal and insulate the top of the basement walls. This would not only insulate the space better than it had been, but it would also eliminate the ability for cold outside air to come inside. Outside air could bring not only cold temperatures, but dust and allergens inside of the home. Sealing up the space with spray foam was the solution.
This crawl space was filthy! Insulation rotting off, debris everywhere, and the air was damp and mildewy. We installed our CleanSpace system to waterproof it, and filled any vented holes that were letting outside air or critters into the space.
This Manassas VA home had a damp and cold crawl space with unwanted pests and cold floors above. Open vents allowed external air, dust and allergens into the crawl space which lead to poor air quality in the home. Installing insulation panels to the walls, using Zyp Foam to seal up the panels and control the air flow into the space and covering the wet, dirt floors would all contribute to a better conditioned environment and improvement to the air quality and energy efficiency of the home.
