This Leesburg, VA home had an issue with ineffective gutters that were allowing excess surface water to build up on the property. Our sales professional Pedro went out to the home and determined what the optimal path for the drainage trench would be to maximize effectiveness and minimize cost. When everything was finalized our service crews went out to the home and dug out the path for the drain. Then finally installed the drain with the output path that led to a nearby dry spot to even out the coverage of surface water.
A rocky, dirt floor crawl was causing humid conditions in the rooms above due to uncontrolled moisture and hot summer weather. To remedy this, the 3 Pros team installed drainage matting and then a wall to wall vapor barrier (CleanSpace) to encapsulate the crawl space.
Homeowners in Rhoadesville, VA decided that they wanted to use their crawl space for storage, however, it was in no shape to store anything. The 3 Pros Basement Systems team knew just what to do. We encapsulated this crawl space with our CleanSpace Encapsulation System. Now these homeowners have a clean, dry, and useable space to store their belongings.
The crawl space of this Bealeton, VA home had dilapidated and moldy insulation in their crawl space that had been ineffective for quite some time and was literally falling out of the ceiling. Additionally, their existing vapor barrier was loose and not sealed to the foundation, allowing moisture to creep in and wreak havoc.
To remediate these issues, the old insulation was first removed, then disposed of safely. The 3 Pros team installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier to protect the crawl space from excess moisture and to give it a clean new look! Closed cell spray foam was then installed from the floor up to the rim joists.
A homeowner in Gainesville, VA had a broken basement window. Until recently, the standards for basement windows haven’t been very high. Builders paid attention to windows in the main part of the house, but typically chose cheap steel or wood-framed windows for the basement. As a result, standard basement windows have some significant problems.
The 3 Pros team quickly replaced this window with an EverLast Window Insert. The EverLast Window Insert features double-pane, insulated glass, so you won't need to worry about major heat loss. Our installation crew will use the right techniques to eliminate air leaks through gaps around the window.
