Before this Madison, CT basement was unwelcoming, and these homeowners wanted to finish their basement to have another comfortable living space. After speaking with Sales Consultant, Matt Kraus, homeowners were ready to start the Total Basement Finishing process. Our foreman and his team began by finishing the walls with our EverLast Walls Restoration System. This system protects against water and is 197% stronger than conventional drywall. In addition, our team installed our Canyon Beige-ThermalDry floor tiles to make the basement floors more comfortable with 8-10 degrees warmer than cold concrete. For the finishing touch, our team wrapped the support beams with our Easy Wrap Column Sleeves with our durable material to disguise an unattractive pole. These homeowners can now enjoy their beautiful and more comfortable basement to its full potential!

Our team got to work and began by finishing the walls with our EverLast Walls Restoration system which brightened up the space and provided extra protection against water. Then our team installed our Canyon Beige-ThermalDry floor tiles to make the space more welcoming and 8-10 degrees warmer than cold concrete. Lastly, our team covered the old support beams with our Easy Wrap Column Sleeves. Now, after the installations, this basement is more comfortable and welcoming for guests’ first impressions!

A homeowner in Madison, CT was getting water in their basement, leaving water damage. They made the smart decision and called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find them a solution. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Mike Bourdeau, went to the home to assess the issues and provide an estimate for the work they'd need to have done. 

Soon after, it would be time for one of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his crew to tackle this project. They installed our WaterGuard perimeter drain system throughout the basement. This goes below the floor and is then covered back up with concrete to ensure that if any water comes in through the walls or floors, it will go directly into the WaterGuard. To go with this, they installed a SuperSump plus sump pump. This will take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. The crew also installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls of the basement to protect it and direct any water from behind the walls, into the WaterGuard drains. For extra protection and key to the waterproofing process, they installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. This will prevent excess moisture and mold growth. Our EverLast basement windows were installed too. Now this basement is fully waterproofed and this homeowner will no longer have to deal with water in their basement!

A homeowner in Madison has an old crawlspace with fiberglass insulation and that was partially dirt. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us encapsulate their crawlspace. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Bret Citrin, went out to the home to assess the crawlspace and provide a solution with our products to ensure they don't have to worry about a nasty crawlspace again. 

One of our Foremen, Rudy Abel, and his crew would install this job. They installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier throughout the entire crawlspace. This will protect it from moisture and any water damage there may be. The crew also installed our RimJoist insulation to ensure the crawlspace was insulated to keep the whole home's temperature regulated. The crew installed one of our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifiers to eliminate excess moisture in the air and prevent mold growth. Now this crawlspace will have no moisture and will be insulated! 

At this home in Madison, they were getting water seepage in their basement and needed a permanent solution. We sent one of our Sales Consultants, Mick Foster, out to the home to assess the water issues and propose a solution with our waterproofing systems. 

One of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his crew installed this project. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system around the entire perimeter of the basement below the floor to collect water. Then they installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump with a battery backup to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. With these systems, water coming in from the floors or walls will get discharged out of the home, keeping this homeowner's basement dry!
