A homeowner in Suffield was looking to finish their entire basement and turn it into a beautiful living space. They called our Total Basement Finishing team to have us install the basement of their dreams. One of our Sales Consultants, Jason Waldek, met with the homeowners to discuss what they wanted to have done and which of our products they would want installed.
One of our Project Managers, Julie Marra, would then ensure this project was ready to go and that everything would run smoothly throughout the installation. She assigned this job to one of our Foremen, Shondee Blake, and his crew. They installed our EverLast perimeter wall system and our ThermalDry Elite plank floor in walnut. These products are both made of inorganic materials so no mold can grow and it won't be affected by moisture. The crew also installed new doors and drop ceilings. This basement truly went from basement to beautiful and these homeowners can now fully enjoy their whole space.
A homeowner in South Glastonbury, CT was getting water seepage in their basement with heavy rains. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems for a permanent solution. One of our Sales Consultants, Steve Godbout, went to the home to assess the basement and propose our waterproofing system as the solution.
Then, after that, it would soon be time for installation by our Foreman Al and his crew. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter of the basement, to capture water seepage. Then, they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take the collected water and safely pump it out of the home. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier was put on the walls to protect from moisture and musty odors.
Now, this basement is dry and will be all the time, leaving the homeowner with nothing but peace of mind.
This basement renovation goes beyond the surface; we waterproofed this Glastonbury, CT home. In the first picture, you can see water stains on the wall. To combat this, we installed the EverLast Wall Panel System. Unlike concrete, they will never get moldy or rot and cannot be damaged by moisture. It is only system with a warranty against water damage.
Additionally, we installed Total Basement Finishing's Drop Ceiling Tiles, which are made specifically for basement environments. Built for long-lasting beauty in your new space, these tiles are warrantied to be non-sagging and mold resistant.
In this basement we installed our Everlast Wall system to cover up those concrete basement walls and they are NOT like drywall. Drywall with fiberglass insulation supports mold growth, will damage from moisture, and will lose insulation value when wet.. We also added our ThermalDry flooring and a drop ceiling to finish off the new look. The end result is a much more inviting living space, ready to become a new play room or another livingroom, the possiblities are now endless.
