This homeowner reached out to us because they noticed their discharge line was not working properly. Our team went out and took a look and recommended adding and replacing some of the discharge. The new discharge line was tied into the current discharge 90 degrees into the crawlspace and then out of the front of the home. This will ensure water is leaving their basement properly from now on.
This homeowner reached out to us regarding their basement having water issues. They are planning to finish the basement in the future and want to ensure there are no water issues. Currently they have water coming into their basement in a few locations which need to be addressed prior to any work being done.
After our team went out to assess the situation, first we recommended the installation of waterguard. Waterguard is designed to capture water seepage through walls and leaks along the wall/floor joint. Secondly, we will be installing a triplesafe sump pump system. This system will keep the basement dry in extreme conditions and even during power outages. Most sump pumps fail because of either a failed pump, a pump that can't handle high volumes of water or power failure. The TripleSafe assures protection from all three sump pump problems.
Lastly, we will be adding iceguard to prevent floods from clogged or frozen discharge line and installing cleanspace on the walls.
This crawl space entrance is MUCH improved by the installation of the Turtl crawl space access system. Not only does this provide clean and simple crawl space access, but it also improves the overall look of the home. The best part, this Turtl will not rust, corrode or ever need paint!
Finishing a basement is a big problem. But, if the basement is not properly sealed or waterproofed, a finished basement can be quickly ruined by a water leak. DryZone installed a french drain around the perimeter of the basement with CleanSpace wall coverings to guide water downwards. When the water goes to the trench drain, it flows to the sump pump and gets pumped out of the home.
This SumpPump was no longer able to keep up with the water which was entering the basement so the homeowners called the experts here at DryZone to come out and replace it. The SumpPump we replaced it with is the TripleSafe which has multiple powerful pumps to move water out and away from your basement along with a reserve battery power.
