A support wood post in this homeowner's crawl space was in desperate need of repair.

SmartJack crawl space support system can correct problems such as sagging, cracks and undersized beams. In this case, a galvanized power brace was installed above the SmartJack to avoid further cracking of the wood post.

Unless you have a home, then its nice to have a lot of support. This home in Yorklyn was not getting the support it needed. The standard cinder block stacks and 4x4s were just not cutting it. So after we cleaned up their crawlspace and installed some CleanSpace we put in these sturdy SmartJacks. SmartJacks are fully adjustable and extremely dependable. They will stop you floor from sagging and help prevent future foundation problems.

Here is a great example of what many home builders use to "level" the floors after they are installed. If I had a nickel for every time I saw a little scrap piece of wood shoved up under a girder...I'd have a ton of nickels. It's strange that this is generally accepted because when you think about it, the whole weight of the home is resting on some thin little piece of wood. The best way to fix it is to add SmartJacks and shim up the piers with large steel plates.

This home owner called DryZone due to sagging floors.  During our inspection, we found high moisture content in the wood, along with high humidity reading throughout the crawlspace.  The homeowner previously had power vents installed, and the vents brought more moisture into the crawlspace.

DryZone installed CleanSpace, a new dehumidifier and several new screw type jacks called Smart Jacks.  The whole process only took a few days, and the results were felt right away.
