When a crawl space is not properly sealed from the outside, it welcomes cold air that can give you cold feet. Even though this crawl space had twists and turns, DryZone ensured every inch of this crawl space was covered to seal out the cold and moist air!

In order to fixup this crawlspace one of the first things needed to be done is the instillation of CleanSpace to keep moisture from the ground from seeping in. We then sealed their vents to prevent outside air from coming in and lastly installed a SaniDry Sedona humidifier. These are all done to keep the humidity levels low within the crawlspace to prevent the propagation of mold and Bacteria. 

This Metamorphosis was caused by the instillation of CleanSpace which is designed to be long lasting and prevent moisture from seeping though the floor. This combined with the vents being blocked will ensure that the humidity levels remain low to prevent the spread of mold.

This homeowner contacted DryZone regarding his wet crawlspace. He knew that he had some issues and went to the big box store for a dehumidifier to try to tackle the crawlspace moisture with a DIY method.  Over time, it became apparent that the DIY was a giant FAIL. This is when he decided to get the crawlspace experts from DryZone in for a method that was failproof!  CleanSpace 20 mil liner over drainage matting, a brand new EverLast Door and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier sealed this crawlspace and it will remain safe for years to come!

This homeowner realized that the encapsulation he currently had in his Crawlspace had failed so to replace it he called the experts here at DryZone to come out. The first step we took was to remove the previous encapsulation so that we could then install our CleanSpace which is not only thicker but will also go up higher on the wall preventing seepage through them. We then install a SaniDry Sedona which will remove any moisture in the Crawlspace's air to keep humidity low which will prevent mold growth.
