Upon noticing unsettling signs of sagging floors and cracks, David T. from Webster, Florida took proactive steps to safeguard his home by hiring us at LRE Foundation Repair. We promptly assessed the home's damage, determining the crawl space was the originating cause. Rotten wood joists and moisture buildup had compromised the structural integrity of the space, causing the floors above to sink. Our team custom-designed a solution incorporating SmartJacks, which we installed at various locations throughout the crawl space. These innovative, adjustable, steel support columns are engineered to provide reliable structural support by transferring the weight of the home to a more stable foundation. SmartJacks are adjustable, enabling us to lift sagging floors with precision, and their galvanized steel construction also ensures durability and resistance to corrosion. By opting for SmartJacks, this homeowner not only addressed the immediate issues with his home, but also implemented a long-term solution, leaving him with the peace of mind he was looking for.
Zachary S. had a basement area of his Orlando, Florida home that continually had water intrusion issues and musty odors started penetrating his home. He called LRE Foundation Repair to help remediate his problems and make his house odor-free. After an inspection was completed, LRE determined faulty drainage around the exterior of his home was mainly to blame and designed the perfect solution to fix Zachary's problems once and for all. LRE installed CleanSpace Encapsulation technology which consists of vapor barriers, dehumidifiers, and other equipment to dry out the space and eliminate odors. LRE also added a drainage system by installing pipe and pop-up drains to divert water away from the basement and the home. Once the project was complete, the homeowner was more than happy with his spotless, odor-free basement and new drainage system that will eliminate water intrusion for good.
Mary from Orlando, Florida, reached out to LRE Foundation Repair to report that water was intruding into the sunroom next to her pool deck. She previously had a drainage system installed that proved to be ineffective, so she asked us to help design an alternative solution. One of our Design Specialists visited Mary’s home to inspect the issue and developed a plan to install an EZ Flow French drain system along the sunroom's exterior walls. This system would work to collect and redirect water to a relief drain away from the home. With Mary’s approval, our production team soon stepped in and began installing the French drain by removing the appropriate amount of soil in order to position the system below the surface. Once the system was in place, we carefully concealed the French drain to provide a seamless appearance. Mary’s sunroom now benefits from an effective solution to prevent further water intrusion, much to her relief.
