Kent H. in Tampa, Florida was experiencing significant cracking to the exterior stucco of his home. With growing concerns there may be a problem, he called LRE Foundation Repair for a solution. After a thorough inspection of the home, LRE was able to determine the main cause of the foundation settlement was due to unstable soils underneath the home. To compact and stabilize the underlying soils, LRE used a two-part deep injection chemical grout. This material expands to compact the underlying soils while strengthening the area as well. LRE also installed helical piers to the side of the home in order to gain lift to the structure, closing some of the cracks in the exterior stucco. Helical piers are advanced deep into the soil and connected to the home's foundation to allow lift to occur. Once the job was complete, Kent H. was extremely pleased to see his home restored and foundation stabilized for years to come.
The channel drain in front of Eric’s garage in Tampa, Florida, was no longer functioning properly, prompting him to seek a more reliable replacement. After contacting us at LRE Foundation Repair for assistance, we sent one of our expert Design Specialists to conduct a free inspection and propose a solution. Upon thoroughly assessing the condition of the original channel drain, our specialist devised a plan to replace it with one of our upgraded models. This new system is designed to efficiently collect and redirect heavy rainwater away from the home through an underground drainage pipe leading to a relief drain, effectively preventing flooding in Eric’s garage. Our team carefully removed the old channel drain and installed our new, enhanced model, providing a reliable solution to protect Eric's garage and home from damage caused by flooding rainwater.
Richard and Patricia owned this home in Temple Terrace, Florida for many years. The back room addition of this home started settling and large cracks were forming inside on the walls and ceiling. With growing concern, they called LRE Foundation Repair for the solution. After an inspection determined loose soils were causing too much movement to the home, LRE engineered a solution by installing helical piers and injecting PolyLevel to a section of the home. Helical piers are drilled into the soil around the exterior walls using small equipment to eliminate disruption to the landscaping of the home. These piers were also able to achieve the desired lift this home needed. In addition, PolyLevel, an expandable two-part foam, was injected at the site to solidify and stabilize the soils underneath. Once completed, these homeowners were thrilled to see the cracks closed and the home stabilized for years to come.
Alyssa P. recently purchased this home in Seminole Heights, Florida and was immediately concerned with the sagging floors that created movement when she walked. She called LRE Foundation Repair for a possible solution. Upon inspection, LRE determined that due to the age of the home, many of the wood joists and concrete support beams were failing, adding to the structural damage of the home. LRE installed its SmartJack technology system to replace the compromised wood and unstable concrete columns. SmartJacks are heavy-duty, galvanized steel posts installed in the crawlspace and adjusted to reach desired heights needed to lift joists, and floors, back into place. They are attached to steel beams as well creating a far superior foundation. Once the project was complete, this homeowner could rest easy knowing LRE permanently stabilized her home for good.
William M. of Tampa, Florida called LRE Foundation Repair after growing concerns about his cracking pool deck and stem wall. He lived right next to an inlet and was worried about future damage. LRE completed a full inspection of the property and noted severe washout and erosion had caused the foundation to fail and got to work on a remediation program. LRE injected Polylevel, a two-part expanding foam material, into small holes around the pool deck. This material not only filled the voids left by loose, washed-out soils but also expanded to lift the sunken areas of the deck back into place. Next, LRE applied the same PolyLevel material under the stem wall, creating a more sound foundation that would eliminate future damage. Once complete, this homeowner was thrilled to have peace of mind that his pool area was stabilized and could finally rest easy knowing his problems were solved.
