What type of work did you have done:
Crawl Space Repair
What made you choose our company:
I received proposals from 3 companies. One was way high, and Woods and another company were even. The main reasons I chose Woods is your company is the only one who agreed to bury the discharge line from the house to the street. Also, your company was going to leave the 2 inch Styrofoam I had on the crawl space walls.
I was very pleased with Chris Stalcup and his crew. I did not have much interaction with the two crew members, but Chris was very helpful. He answered all my questions about the project. I do have a few negative items. The sales rep. failed to count in one 12 x 24 room and Chris did not bring enough materials. Also, the rep attached the wrong pictures when he sent the project to Chris. The pictures were not of my crawl space, and did not show the Styrofoam insulation. When the crew dug the trench for the discharge pipe, they failed to use a string or paint for a straight line. When I came by, the trench was starting to go into my neighbors yard. There were two other strange things that happened on this project. One, when Chris tried to bury the smart pipe in the back room he could not dig down because he said there was concrete under the dirt. Therefore the back room has no tile. I hope the dimpled mat and clean space plastic keep the water out. Two, as Chris prepared to leave he was going to e-mail me pictures of the finished project. I stood with him on the driveway and watched him put in my address and hit send. I have not yet received those pictures. My last conversation with Woods, your rep was going to check with Chris or get them off the company computer to e-mail me. I would like to have pictures of the finished project. I would be glad to discuss any of this over the phone. Bruce Nofftz 217-253-3641
