Rockford, IL 61107An addition was added to rear of home some years back before I bought it 6 mos. ago. Crawl space is accessible thru big hole in basement wall. Have covered that hole because cold air was pouring in. Before closing it I did see some gravel, mostly clay hard dirt at ground level, two heat pipes with most of insulation falling off, some batting insulation in flooring space between joists, one section on south end blocked off by cement wall, and I doubt any kind of insulating was done as floor above is frigid cold. Exterior walls are enclosed with thick styrofoam sheets.
