Karleen H. from Cannelton, IN had recently bought a new home.  The Inspector didn't find any mold, but after moving in, the crawl space smelled very musty. They hadn't been down there since they moved in but knew that they needed to turn this job over to the professionals. They gave Healthy Spaces a call and we went out to do a free no-obligation inspection.

System Design Specialist, Damon Cheatham, inspected the home and proposed a solution. First, the mold filled vapor barrier was pulled up by our install crew. Not only that, but the barrier itself has pulled away from the walls and wrinkled up to the point that it is not functional. In order to isolate the crawlspace and the house from the muddy ground and wet outside air, Cleanspace was installed. CleanSpace is an engineered film designed against rips, tears, and water on top of the liner. it's guaranteed for 25 years!

In the second picture, you can see the CleanSpace being installed in the crawlspace. Once the installation is complete, the crawlspace will actually be a conditioned space, which will increase energy efficiency--saving money on cooling and heating, and increasing indoor air quality.

Homeowners in Chrisney, IN were purchasing this home. When they had an inspection done, the inspection report flagged the crawl space for having mold. The problem with this is it only cleans the surface soil load, leaving behind dirt, debris, pollen, mold.
