These pictures show how foreman Dillon Heard waterproofed a large basement space in Cedar Falls, IA using CleanSpace and a WaterGuard system. The homeowners do not need to worry about incoming water!

Iris was having an issue of water coming into her basement, but because she had a finished basement, the leak had gone unnoticed until it was too late. The drywall had started to warp and grow mold. Members from MidAmerica Basement Systems installed CleanSpace behind the drywall to provide a moisture barrier between the drywall and foundation wall. CleanSpace is a thick liner that helps prevent water and moisture from entering, while directing it away from the drywall, and into the existing waterproofing system.

Scott was looking to encapsulate his crawlspace but all the offers he had, didn’t provide him a permanently solution. He finally got the answer he was looking for when he spoke with the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems. He was offered a CleanSpace solution that not only permanently seals off the exposed ground from the crawlspace, but provides a liner that won’t tear or puncture. CleanSpace had an antimicrobial additive to prevent mold growth, giving the crawlspace a vapor barrier and leaving the structure of the home safer.
