Comment: We have a dirt floor crawlspace underneath our 3-season porch. The "foundation" or walls of the crawlspace are metal lathe & concrete. We are insulating the 3 season porch through the mass saves program and they are insisting we install vents in the walls of the crawlspace before they'll complete the work even though I've read this is going to exacerbate moisture problems rather than solve them. I would much prefer to seal the crawlspace with a vapor barrier and be able to use it as storage for patio furniture and excess building materials. I would very much appreciate a quote.
