Concord, MA 01742I have an extension on my house that has a crawl space under it. It is approx. a 11 X 15 area and has about a 3-4 foot space before the joists and area has a dirt floor. It is a wreck of an area where critters, bees and other things have gotten in or are still getting in. The spray foamed walls have holes and are crumbling. The pink insulation is falling down from the ceiling and there is a lot of trash. If you could please give me an estimate on how much it would be to clean up, insulate better and vapor seal the dirt ground.

Concord, MA 01742I am in the process of purchasing this home and am set to close on November 14th. There was a crawl space in the downstairs basement and the following is from the inspection report: The plastic barrier in the crawl space had open gaps. Crawl spaces ceiling insulated bays are showing age, wear and damages (in particular from rodents). Some insulation has become detached and is resting on the crawl space floor. Recommend a sealable crawl space access hatch as needed.
