Comment: I put an offer in on a house, I love the house but I am getting conflicting information on the crawl space, and the furnace which is in the crawl space. It looks to me like the walls of the foundation are in bad shape, I have been in there myself. There is basically no flooring, it's all dirt. There is a lot of moisture on the front walll where you can see water damage. I want to know how much it would cost to repair or if it is even worth still pursuing the offer.

Comment: Our master bedroom is over a crawlspace which holds water virtually year round (house sits below street level). The floor sags by several inches and the cinder block foundation is rapidly deteriorating. Our long term plan was to replace the master suite, but I don't think we can wait that long...need to at least jack-up the floors & see about clearing the water.
