A homeowner in New Lisbon, WI, noticed an odd odor around their home. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner decided to do some investigating. A few days later, Chuck arrived at the home and began the detailed inspection. During his inspection, Chuck confirmed the crawl space needed to be fully encapsulated. The homeowner agreed with Chuck's proposal, so the plans were sent to our Logistics team to build and finalize the project. Our Logistics team gave the final green light, and the project was scheduled for a few months later. When the project date arrived, our crews traveled to the home to start the project. First, the crew began by making sure the crawl space was ready for installation. Next, the crew shifted to installing the SmartJacks. Once the SmartJacks were secured, the crew laid Drainage Matting on the floors. Then, the crew installed CleanSpace on the crawl space floors. After all the products were secure, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted eye-catching transformation made by the crew. It is a useful piece of material in the process to keep any crawl space dry. Next, Cole and his team installed 1,596 feet of our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, which keeps away odors, mold, termites, cockroaches, mice, and other pests that need excess moisture to survive. They also installed our crawl space vapor barrier which protects the space from moisture and potential mold growth. The combination of these encapsulation products turned the crawl space into a dry, clean and energy efficient part of the house. The process took a couple of days to complete, but Charlene now has a bright, clean and healthy crawl space and is saving money on her energy bill each month.
