A homeowner in New Lisbon, WI, noticed an odd odor around their home. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner decided to do some investigating. After taking a closer look, the homeowner discovered the odor was coming from their crawl space. Worried this was a sign of a larger issue, the homeowners knew they needed to find a professional to provide them with a solution. Our Logistics team gave the final green light, and the project was scheduled for a few months later. When the project date arrived, our crews traveled to the home to start the project. First, the crew began by making sure the crawl space was ready for installation. Next, the crew shifted to installing the SmartJacks. Once the SmartJacks were secured, the crew laid Drainage Matting on the floors. Then, the crew installed CleanSpace on the crawl space floors. After all the products were secure, the crew cleaned up their materials and left the home. The homeowner was delighted eye-catching transformation made by the crew. Our Foreman, Cole Brinkman, and his production team started the project by installing 1,431 feet of drainage matting, which gives the water that floods into the crawl space a channel underneath the crawl space liner. It is a useful piece of material in the process to keep any crawl space dry. Next, Cole and his team installed 1,596 feet of our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, which keeps away odors, mold, termites, cockroaches, mice, and other pests that need excess moisture to survive. Rick and Vicky were both very happy with the work and had a great experience!

Our Foreman, Kiko Pena, and his production team installed a full perimeter of rim joist insulation which seals the rim joists and lowers Charlene’s energy costs. They also installed our crawl space vapor barrier which protects the space from moisture and potential mold growth. The combination of these encapsulation products turned the crawl space into a dry, clean and energy efficient part of the house. The process took a couple of days to complete, but Charlene now has a bright, clean and healthy crawl space and is saving money on her energy bill each month.
