This crawlspace was a bit more than just damp, and all the excess moisture and humidity had started causing some real issues with his floors. More and more weak spots appeared in his floors and the creaking started driving him crazy, so he decided to reach out to us. Many people look to standard vapor barriers as a cheap and quick fix to the moisture problems under their homes. Time and time again, we've had homeowners reach out to us to help them with moisture issues, even though they already own and have paid for a vapor barrier. They're thin, they move and leave ground exposed, and we've even seen plenty of them completely degraded. The permanent solution you expect from a standard vapor barrier, can actually be found in our CleanSpace Liner. This liner is much thicker, much more durable, and works perfectly with our crawl space dehumidifiers and sump pumps to create a completely moisture-proofed environment. You'll see that the CleanSpace Liner in these photos is spread tightly against the ground, AND up the crawl space walls and supports. This liner won't be moving, and it certainly won't let any ground water seepage past it.
