These Sea Girt homeowners had a wildlife infestation in their attic. They had an exclusion done by our nuisance wildlife team who blocked all of the potential entry points into the attic. Unfortunately, although the wildlife was gone and could not re-enter, the homeowners were left with destroyed attic insulation and a toxic mess of animal droppings. 

We removed all the contaminated insulation and added TruSoft blown-in cellulose insulation. Homeowners in Red Bank, NJ, had a raccoon gain entry into their attic through the ceiling fan. Previously, our wildlife team successfully retrieved, removed, and safely relocated the trespassing raccoon, and also installed a tough galvanized steel mesh attic fan cover that would permanently block the entry point.

The homeowners however were concerned, and rightfully so, that there could still be unseen urine seepage or other hidden damage to their insulation. They did not want to take any chances. For their own peace of mind, the homeowners felt this was an opportune time to improve the quality of their attic insulation. 

We first removed the potentially contaminated insulation and flooring. Once that material was cleared out, we disinfected the entire attic to remove all traces and smells of a raccoon infestation.  Finally, after we replaced the flooring with new plywood, we “blew in” 12 inches of our TruSoft insulation. TruSoft blown-in cellulose insulation offers superior thermal properties as well as a pest control component. Now, with this top-quality insulation, these homeowners will enjoy a more comfortable energy-efficient home with reduced heating and cooling bills.

After we inspected this homeowner's attic in Red Bank, NJ, we came to the conclusion that it was severely under-insulated. After bringing this to the homeowner's attention he wanted us to add blown-in cellulose insulation to his attic.

Once we arrived we first needed to remove the current insulation and then sanitize and deodorize the attic. Once that was done we began to add in the blown-in cellulose insulation. This blanket of insulation will create a thermal barrier and dramatically increase the home's energy efficiency

A new customer in Spring Lake, NJ thought that the insulation in his attic had mold on it, so he called our office to inspect further. After a thorough inspection, we didn't find any signs of mold nor any conducive conditions that could potentially lead to mold growth (the insulation was just old and filthy). However, we did notice that the attic was severely under-insulated, which can lead to costly utility bills and fluctuating temperatures throughout the home. After bringing this to the owners' attention, he wanted us to insulate the attic.

Once we arrived, we re-inspected the attic, removed the old insulation, and then added 10 inches of TruSoftblown-in cellulose insulation. The result will be a much more efficient and comfortable home!

After the Little Rascals Nuisance Wildlife team had safely removed all the bats from this residence in Allenhurst, NJ, attic we were sent out to remove the contaminated insulation and replace it.
