This crawlspace needed some serious attention! Our crew removed an old, inefficient vapor barrier and a lot of debris. They then installed our CleanSpace liner that will prevent any further moisture from making its way into the living room above.
We were able to create a safe and healthy environment by waterproofing and encapsulating this crawlspace in Bohemia with the use of our CleanSpace.
We fully encapsulated this crawl space to create a barrier between the earth and the home. This will help keep the upstairs living area less humid and free of odors and moisture.
This was an old crawlspace that needed a complete clean out and new insulation and vapor barrier installed.
Our customer purchased this house with the intent to renovate and resell. While the house was on the market, many of our customer's potential buyers noticed the severe leakage and water table issues within the basement/crawl space leading them to seek other homes. As the #1 Waterproofer on Long Island, our customer requested us to develop a system that would create a safe and healthy environment for this basement/crawl space. Our experienced systems design specialist Michael Alexander initially recommended a full perimeter waterproofing system, however he and Bill Simone collaborated with our customer to create a custom solution for the water seepage.
After deciding on a CleanSpace vapor barrier encapsulation led by foreman Larry Foster, this system was able to drain the existing leaks and stop the water vapor from continuing to permeate through walls. Furthermore, a sump pump was installed to efficiently pump out the water through the discharge line. The efforts made by Healthy Basement Systems helped sell this house while also creating a safe and healthy environment for our customer and future home owners.
To ensure professional installation and superior service we carefully created an international network of over 350 trusted basement contractors.
