PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that is injected into the concrete that starts expanding and lifting the concrete within minutes. This Corona, Queens house got water in the basement during the winter and needed to be waterproofed. There was a musty smell and high realative humidity. Inspector Nick Biris suggested a TripleSafe sump pump, a WaterGuard drainage system and a SaniDry dehumidifier. The WaterGuard drainage system collects water from between the wall and floor and redirects it to the TripleSafe sump pump. The TripleSafe sump pump has three pumps, a built-in alarm and a battery back up. In case of a power outage, the battery back up pump will turn on and pump water out of the house. The SaniDry dehumidifer will filter out mold and dust spores, and keep this basement's humidity down and musty smells out. Now this basement will stay dry during heavy rain storms, no longer has a musty smell and is waterproof!
