Foreman Juan Garcia and his team decided that FlexiSpan was the perfect solution. FlexiSpan is a flexible sealant made of open cell foam and waterproof sealant that works with the walls movement. This sealant ensures that the entire crack is sealed, even if there is a change in the wall. FlexiSpan fits smoothly over a wall, blending in with a concrete wall. This solution helped the homeowners keep their basement dry and healthy!   

This Staten Island homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems because his basement flooded EVERY time it rained. He also noticed small holes and cracks in his walls. Condensation was entering the basement through these holes. By installing a full perimeter WaterGuard system, the basement no longer floods. A crawl space in Staten Island, New York was moist and humid and the homeowners wanted to encapsulate it. Our System Design Specialist inspected the crawl space and wanted to install an encapsulation system.

First, Drainage Matting was installed on the crawl space floors to provide a channel for the water to be directed to the perimeter drain. The matting has raised dimples to ensure the water does not get trapped on the crawl space floor. SilverGlo was installed on the crawl space walls to reflect heat back into the crawl space for ultimate energy savings.

SilverGlo keeps the cold out and the heat in. CleanSpace was installed on the crawl space walls and floors to seal off the crawl space, hold back water vapor and humidity. CleanSpace is a durable bright white liner that will not rip or tear making it perfect for storage. EverLast Doors were installed on the crawl space windows to seal off the crawl space, keep pests, cold air and heat out. This crawl space is encapsulated and can be used for storage.      

A new homeowner in Staten Island, New York had water in their basement and contacted Quality 1st for a solution. Our System Design Specialist went to inspect the basement and noticed the signs of water and recommended a waterproofing system be installed. WaterGuard was installed along the perimeter of the basement and underneath the floor slab to make sure the system does not clog. WaterGuard collects the water that seeps in through the basement walls and floors and directs it to the sump pump. The SuperSump sump pump was installed in the basement to keep it dry for extended periods of time, even during heavy water intrusion. The SuperSump is capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour out of an 8-foot head out of the basement. This system is perfect for occasional water issues, but nothing severe.
