Matt

Matt worked in general contracting and remodeling before coming to The Basement Doctor.  He started as a general laborer, was promoted to Co-Foreman, then Foreman, then Service Tech to Lead Service Tech, then Service Manager, then Acting Production Manager and, most recently, Operations Manager.  Matt has a decade of hands-on training and is a Certified Waterproofing Professional. In 2022 Matt was awarded with his certificate at Management U. 

Matt handles all of the day to day operations at the Cincinnati location by working closely with the service and production managers, while using every spare minute he has for additional training from our Vice President.  

In his spare time, Matt loves to go wheeling/off-roading, spending time with his friends and family, and being outdoors. When asked about his time here, he said, "I have learned so much in my time here and still learn something new every day; it never gets boring!" I started here with the intention of learning and excelling in a new trade that is rather unique.  I've stayed because of the team we've built here.  The staff feels like family.  I think I am a shining example of what The Basement Doctor can do for someone with the right mindset and dedication.  I have been promoted seven times in my career here.  The owner, Bobby Miles, sees the potential in all of his employees and will work with them to get them to their best.  To a potential applicant, you may be applying for a job and a paycheck, but it will turn into a career and family.  If you're applying for a position in the field, then see it through!  The work can be tough, but never give up, and you'll be very pleased you did.  What makes us proud of our company is that we change lives for the better!  I sleep better every night, knowing that I played my part in making our customers happier and healthier.  That's a feeling that is hard to beat.
